Tap Water at the Inauguration

What if a bipartisan team of the nation’s top leaders chose a joyful and significant occasion to express their support for public water systems across the country? That’s what George Hawkins and DC Water asked the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies to do, after the committee’s head announced a plan to bring in expensive bottled water from New York for the next inauguration.
