Letter to USDA Secretary Vilsack


There has been a lot of debate recently across the nation about hydraulic fracturing. Close to home, the U.S. Forest Service is considering whether to allow the practice – also known as fracking – in the George Washington National Forest. That has raised concerns about the potential impact on our drinking water supply and that’s what prompted this letter to Tomas Vilsack, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
